Rabdan Academy partners with Intra Defence Technologies

Rabdan Academy has entered into a strategic memorandum of understanding with INTRA Defence Technologies, a leading company in drone technologies, defence systems and integrated logistical support.
The agreement was formalised during the second edition of the World Defence Show in Riyadh, a premier global exhibition in security and defence.
Its objective is to fortify the strategic cooperation frameworks between the two entities across research, training, qualification and accreditation within the defence and security sectors.
The signing ceremony was attended by Salem Saeed Al Saeedi, Vice President of Rabdan Academy, and Dr Hamad Abdullah Al-Fouzan, CEO of INTRA Defence Technologies. Moreover, representatives from both parties, including specialised staff, researchers and academics, witnessed this significant milestone.
This agreement facilitates the exchange of cutting-edge global experiences, technologies, and services between the two entities to bolster the capabilities of individuals and institutions in terms of safety, security, defence, emergency preparedness, and crisis management.
Furthermore, it aims to foster collaborative research, studies and global training solutions to advance defence and military manufacturing systems.
Under this agreement, the two parties will collaborate to devise mechanisms for academic and professional accreditations pertinent to specialised talents in drones, safety, security, defence, emergency preparedness and crisis management, in line with the highest quality standards upheld by both entities.
Al Saeedi expressed his enthusiasm for the inaugural partnership with INTRA Defence Technologies, underscoring its significance in nurturing national capabilities and future systems in the defence and security sectors.
He emphasised that the collaboration would elevate the academy’s contributions and align with its visionary objectives to pioneer integrated solutions and services in unmanned ystems and their ancillary technologies regionally and globally.
For his part, Al-Fouzan stated, “I am delighted and proud to sign this strategic agreement with Rabdan Academy. This partnership marks a significant step in our journey towards enhancing our capabilities and refining our approaches in the defence and security sectors. We strongly believe in the importance of innovation and cooperation in reaching our mutual goals, and we eagerly anticipate collaborating with the Rabdan team to deliver cutting-edge integrated solutions and services in unmanned systems and their ancillary technologies.”
Both parties commit to organising conferences, scientific forums, and specialised training courses in defence and security. They also plan to facilitate training programmes to enhance the research capabilities of experts affiliated with both entities.
