Empowerment of the private sector’s role and contributions to GDP was the crux of a specialised workshop organised by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), in the presence of leading economic executives in the emirate.
Addressing the workshop, Mohammed Hilal Al Muhairi, Director General of ADCCI, underscored the importance of developing a future-oriented strategy for the chamber and forging efficient solutions to the challenges of the future by increasing the role of the private sector in the sustainable development drive adopted by the country.
The workshop focused on a number of main axes for charting a medium- and long-term future plan that includes the full aspects of the chamber’s future role and contributions of the private sector by laying more focus on e-commerce, digital transformation, state-of-the-art technology,and the growth of knowledge-based economy.
Syndicate sessions were organised during the workshop on a series of topics, including best techniques of ensuring efficient and expeditious decision-making and promotion of innovation and creativity across all business platforms.
