Upon the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation,
has sent the urgent relief aid to the brotherly Sudanese people.
The relief aid, which included food, tents and pesticides, was dispatched to help Sudan address the floods that caused serious damages due to the continuous rains there.
An official source at the Khalifa Foundation said, “The assistance, which comes in line with the implementation of the directives of the wise leadership, aims to alleviate the suffering of the brotherly Sudanese people, especially those affected by the floods that swept across a number of states in Sudan.”
