Noor Bank, a leading Shari’a compliant bank in the UAE,
announced on Monday that it won the ‘Best Priority Banking – UAE’ award from the ‘Islamic Business & Finance Awards 2016’ hosted by the prominent publisher, CPI Financial. The Islamic Business & Finance Awards recognise the best and most innovative organisations driving the development of the sector globally.
The award was collected by Dr Ahmed Aljanahi, Deputy CEO, Noor Bank, on behalf of the bank at the Emirates Towers Hotel, Dubai.

Noor Bank won the award after an online voting process which included more than 40,000 votes, by Islamic finance practitioners across the world, as well as registered users of the CPI Financial website. Noor Bank was initially shortlisted for voting on the website after extensive research on its Priority Banking proposition by CPI Financial’s team of experts. Occurring for the 11th consecutive year, the annual awards ceremony is widely recognised as one of the most prestigious industry events within the region.
