ABU DHABI / WAM

Mohammed Thani Murshid Al Rumaithi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised the decisions of the UAE Cabinet related to the full ownership of Emirati companies by international investors and companies.
This move will encourage more international companies to do business in the UAE and benefit from the available investment opportunities in the country’s various economic sectors, which will help advance the national economy, he added.
Al Rumaithi stated that the UAE has always led in taking decisions, which reflects the awareness of the wise leadership about the importance of making the country a centre of business and investment, in light of legislation that protect the rights of all parties and increase the trust of foreign investors in the economy.
The UAE government is also keen to involve federal and local government authorities, through raising propositions, ideas, regulations and incentives that will improve the
country’s competitiveness, Al Rumaithi noted.
