NCMS warns of dust storms

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), has urged motorists to be cautious, reduce speed and leave enough distance between vehicles because of a dust storm caused by winds.
NMCS said in a statement on Monday that the weather will be hot in general, partly cloudy and hazy at times. Some clouds may appear over eastern areas by afternoon. Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times, causing blowing dust and sand at times.
“The relative humidity is likely to increase by night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog and mist formation. Sea will be moderate, rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Sea of Oman,” the statement added.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather will be fair in general, partly cloudy and hazy at times. Some clouds may develop over eastern areas by afternoon.
Light to moderate winds in general, freshening at times during daytime, causing some blowing dust and sand at times. The relative humidity will increase during night and early morning, with a chance of fog and mist formation over some coastal and internal areas. Seas will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the sea of Oman.
