NCMS forecasts unstable weather for next 24 hours

Abu Dhabi / WAM

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) confirmed that unstable weather will continue for the next 24 hours, where the amount of clouds will increase over scattered areas associated with different intensities of rainfall, being occasionally heavy and thundery at times.
Fresh south-easterly to north-easterly winds will become strong at times, especially over the sea and with towering clouds.
The seas will be rough to very rough, especially with cloud activity, in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
The NCMS advised motorists to take precautions while driving during rain and poor visibility, and to avoid water-gathering, especially near highlands and valleys runs.
The NCMS has also warned against going offshore due the roughness of the sea in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
