‘Mother of the Nation Festival a focal point for thousands of visitors’

As a platform for engaging, informative and thought-provoking activities, honouring the inspirational values of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the Mother of the Nation Festival will serve as a focal point for thousands of visitors to Abu Dhabi’s Corniche over the coming 10 days, said Director-General of Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, TCA Abu Dhabi, Saif Saeed Ghobash today.
“In tribute to Her Highness’ vision, the festival’s multiple experiences will foster an environment of celebration and underline the
importance of education as a means to shape the future and bridge cultures through a meeting of minds,” Ghobash said in a
statement to WAM.
“Above all, we encourage visitors of all ages and from all sections of our society to come together for a community celebration and to reflect on the enduring legacy in a festive atmosphere,” he said.
The Mother of the Nation Festival, which will run from March 26 to April 4, celebrates, commemorates and honours the inspirational values of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak.
Throughout multiple and diverse activity zones, the festival creates an entertaining and highly interactive atmosphere that welcomes families and individuals from all walks of life.
