His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Tuesday toured the ongoing Abu Dhabi Aviation and Aerospace Week (ADAAW), being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC).
Sheikh Mohamed’s tour covered a number of
national and international pavilions at the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and the Military Simulation & Training (MST) Exhibition, both part of the Week.
During his tour, Sheikh Mohamed stopped at the stands of Lockheed Martin, Emirates Advanced Research and Technology Holding (EARTH),
Golden Group, Ministry of Interior, Abu Dhabi
Autonomous Systems Investments (ADASI) and Cubic Defence.
UMEX and MST provide a professional platform for manufacturers to meet operators and establish lucrative business relationships while promoting the ecological, environmental, civil and humanitarian benefits of unmanned systems and military
simulation and training.
Sheikh Mohamed was accompanied by
Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority (EAA), Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary General of the National Security Council,
Mohammed Mubarak al Mazrouei, Under-secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and a number of officials.
