The Ministry of Finance (MoF), organised an introductory workshop on the ministry’s automated revenue matching system for employees from ministries and federal entities in Dubai.
The workshop, which was attended by representatives of ministries and federal entities as well as a number of officials and directors of the departments in the ministry, aimed to explain the mechanism and technical requirements of the automated revenue matching system, will be provided to all entities linked to the e-Dirham system, and its benefits to entities connected with the e-Dirham.
Speaking on the occasion, Saeed Rashid Al Yateem, Assistant Under-Secretary of Resources and Budget Sector at the MoF, stressed the importance of the system and its role in enhancing the accuracy of accounting operations. Through daily management of revenue, the system achieves maximum efficiency, in turn raising the level of customer satisfaction.
“The Ministry of Finance aims to implement the automated revenue matching system in order to improve transaction processing systems and enhance the verification of transactions and account balances while ensuring their accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations,” he said.
He added, “The revenue matching system provides integrated solutions designed to manage financial systems based on the latest technologies using the best security and information protection systems. It is being implemented in many institutions locally and globally, for processing and matching data, providing information required for clearing and settlement, identifying the source and destination of operations and transferring transactions to the relevant authorities, as per the best international standards.”
