Juma Mohammed Al Kait, Assistant Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade Affairs, is heading the UAE trade and investment delegation during his visit to Spain from May 3-4, to attend the UAE-Catalonia Forum, organised by the ministry in cooperation with the UAE’s Consulate General in Barcelona city.
While in Spain, the delegation will hold a series of meetings at the public and private levels to discuss ways to strengthen economic ties and explore investment potential on both sides, as well as sign a memorandum of understanding between Ras Al Khaimah Economic Development Department and Catalonia Business Confederation, on the sidelines of the forum. The event will be attended by over 226 companies from both countries.
Al Kait said the platform opens wider horizons to set up economic partnerships in areas of common interest in the UAE and Spain, and will further enhance communication channels between the business circles in both countries.
