Miral attracts 550 Emiratis to its ‘Ambassador Program’

Miral’s subsidiary, Farah Experiences, held at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the second open day of its Ambassador Program, a training program focused on encouraging Emirati talent to grow in the travel and tourism sector.
The open day welcomed 550 Emirati candidates seeking to join the Ambassador Program to gain knowledge and experience in this high growth industry, and build the required skills that reinforce the hospitality culture and principals of the UAE.
In line with Miral’s goal to add 1,000 jobs by 2018, the program is expected to recruit 200 Emiratis over a 12 month period, 50 of which have been already recruited in the first open day of the program hosted last year.
“We are very excited to see the commitment, dedication and eagerness of candidates to learn and develop their skills throughout the Ambassador Program. The passion we have witnessed among the participants is a true testament of the hospitality ethics embedded in our nation,” said Mariam AlMusharrekh, Associate Director of Human
Resources at Miral.
Testament to the program’s success in developing future tourism specialists, Jawaher M. Alhassni, is now working as the guest service associate at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, responsible of welcoming visitors, ticket sales, visitor entrance and exit management as well as being their information point of contact during the day at the theme park.
The Ambassador Program is a three-month paid program initiated last December by Miral’s subsidiary, Farah Experiences, offering young Emiratis 12 weeks training in two major destinations, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld.

“When I first joined the Ambassador Program, I was very excited about the diversity of expertise I will be exposed to. From Yas Waterworld to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, it was a great experience to explore what the different destinations had to offer, thanks to Farah’s Experiences program,” said Jawaher M. Alhassni, guest service associate at Ferrari World.
The Ambassador Program is a three-month paid program initiated last December by Miral’s subsidiary, Farah Experiences, offering young Emiratis 12 weeks training in two major destinations, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld. The highest performers will be considered for full-time employment on Yas Island, including the upcoming Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.
