MBZUH explores ties with Singaporean delegation

Dr Mohammed Rashid Al Hameli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH), received a delegation from Singapore led by Minister of Social and Family Development Masagos Zulkifli, at the university’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The two sides discussed opportunities for future cooperation that will be encapsulated in an agreement that will define the framework of the partnership across various fields of common interest.
They also discussed ways to leverage the university’s experience in humanities, especially its peace, development and stability programmes. They also agreed to support international cultural and humanitarian initiatives.
Dr Al Hameli said that the university has been in constant communication with the Singaporean side on academic and cultural cooperation matters. This aligns with the university’s vision and strategy to establish partnerships with like-minded institutions regionally and globally, conveying the message of love and peace from the emirates to all peoples and spreading the values of tolerance and
coexistence.
He added that more scientific and educational visits are planned in the future. Zulkifli, in turn, praised the academic programmes of the university as well as its initiatives and experience in promoting peace and tolerance globally.
He said that this experience is unique and reflects the keenness of the UAE leadership, people and educational institutions to spread peace and achieve stability in the world.
