Celebrating the month from Flag Day through Martyrs’ Day to National Day, Mashreq captures the pride of the nation with its #youAE campaign.
Last year Mashreq introduced #youAE with the question – “What makes a country great”? Hundreds of thousands of UAE residents replied, sharing what inspired them about living here. This year Mashreq is asking a new question – “What defines #youAE?” encouraging everyone to share the tastes, styles and experiences that best capture the
nation for them. Simply upload their photos and videos on social media with the hashtag #YouAE to join in.
Residents can also support the campaign by proudly displaying the #youAE bumper sticker on their car. Available free from Mashreq branches, strategically located in all the seven Emirates and other selected partner merchants, the sticker offers another way to reflect National Pride. By just taking a picture of the sticker on your car and sharing on social media with the hashtag gives a chance to win an AED 200 fuel voucher.
Additionally residents can win AED 500 mall shopping voucher when they share what taste, style or experience
defines UAE using the #youAE and also tagging Mashreq on social media like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
“What defines #youAE?” asks, Basker Rangachari, Head of Marketing & Customer Experience, Mashreq. “The campaign this year reflects how this nation is being shaped by Emiratis and expats from all over the world who bring their aspirations, their tastes, their style and knowledge and make a difference every day. From architects to construction workers; surgeons to nurses; pilots to cabin crew; we all enjoy a particular aspect of the country that represents it for us.”
“This is a celebration and at Mashreq, our goal is to shed light on all the achievements and contributions that make the UAE such a unique country. Every year marks new achievements, possibilities and new limits and by using filmmaking, we couldn’t have found a better way to send this message. By collaborating with the residents of the UAE, we want to capture their memories, experiences, styles and food; and encourage conversations both locally and globally.” concluded Rangachari.
