His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, on Tuesday received the speakers for GCC Shura Councils at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.
The meeting was attended by Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker for the Council of Representatives of the Kingdom of Bahrain; Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, Speaker for the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman; Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim, Speaker for the Shura Council of the State of Qatar; and Saqr Ghobash, Speaker for the Federal National Council (FNC), who are participating in the18th regular meeting of the leaders of the Shura, Representatives, National, and Ummah Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States. The meeting was attended also by Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
During the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation relations between the Gulf Arab states in various fields were discussed, and a number of topics of common interest were reviewed.
