His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, received today at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan of the State of Qatar.
At the beginning of the meeting, Sheikh Saoud conveyed the greetings of H.H. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In turn, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Emir of Qatar, along with his best wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Qatar and its fraternal people.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mansour and Sheikh Saoud discussed the fraternal relations and various aspects of cooperation and joint work between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court; several ministers and senior officials from the Presidential Court; and Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa bin Sultan Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Qatar.
Sheikh Mansour also hosted a luncheon in honour of Sheikh Saoud and the accompanying delegation, attended by several Sheikhs and senior officials.
