Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ the leading jewellery retailer won Oman’s ‘Most Trusted Award’ in the jewellery category after a long process of voting by the public. The award was handed over by H E Yahya Al Jabri- Chairman, Capital Markets Authority, Chairman, Special Economic Zone Authority, Duqm to Abdul Salam KP- Group Executive Director, Malabar Group and Najeeb K, Regional Head, Oman- Malabar Gold & Diamonds in the presence of HE Saleh Zakwani- Chairman, Apex Press & Publishing.
The online voting process this year started on June 7 and ended on July 10 where the public had to vote for their preferred brand across ten categories namely; airlines, automotive, banks, hypermarkets, investment & finance companies, jewellery, money exchanges, private hospitals, telecom and Omani brands. During this period, a total of 189,023 votes were received out of which Malabar Gold & Diamonds received 44.6% of the total votes in the jewellery category making it the ‘Most Trusted Brand’ in the jewellery category by the public.
On this esteemed occasion, Shamlal Ahamed, Managing Director of Malabar Gold & Diamonds – International Operations said “We are honored to receive this recognition which illustrates the opinion from the general public of Oman.
