SCCI launches ‘Business Intelligence System’

Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) launched its ‘Business Intelligence System’ – a smart scheme that aims at fully boosting the chamber’s digital transformation process for all its transactions and inquiries, in a move to exploit digital and technical technologies providing cutting-edge support to administration decisions and corporate reports’ preparations within inspiring a new administrative culture that endorses digital technologies.
The initiative will assist in transforming traditional data and long-time stored information to digital formats, making them easy to handle and process. This will enable preparing advanced and smart reports, through which all information are connected and analyzed, enriching such reports with useful information and performance indicators, that help in making decisions based on truthful facts and benefit from today’s latest digital technologies.
The system will support management decision-making, expedite the preparation of corporate reports and publications and guarantee availability of information by needed businesses from all sectors, decision makers and concerned interested parties.
His Excellency Khalid bin Butti Al Hajri, Director General of SCCI said: “SCCI’s launch for its ‘Business Intelligence System’ comes in parallel with other various initiatives and projects the chamber has been working on to support full digital transformation of all its operations.
The mentioned system reflects the chamber’s commitment in pursuing know-how strategically operational decisions and providing credible levels of information and data bases, to build precise and transparent financial and non-financial indicators for decision makers from
the Emirate of Sharjah’s vast economic sectors.”
Al Hajri stressed the project represents an e-stage for collecting and preparing data from their bases and various references in order to be analyzed and transformed into information, so then they are put on display before business analysts such as specialists and decision makers, by using interactive tables and graphics, becoming available on mobile and tablet equipment and surfing all categories on search engines. This would overcome all related rising challenges and come up with appropriate solutions to reach set objectives, added Al Hajri.
The kind of instruments and technologies provided by the ‘Business Intelligence System’ will play a significant role in expediting the process of transforming all data and primal information, so they can be classified and structured to be analyzed, then accordingly ready to provide the types of needed conclusions depending on the kind and approach of the search processes.
This will play an important and pivotal role in dealing with mega storage sizes of data and information, so they can be transformed to visions and concepts, which can be easily comprehended, that represent the core foundation for any carefully speedy decision process and benefit all.
