Khaleeji Commercial Bank opens 11th branch in Bahrain

Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB), one of Bahrain’s leading Islamic retail bank, formally inaugurated the opening of a new branch located in Juffair Mall, Juffair. With the launch of the new branch the Bank now has a network of 11 branches in the Kingdom of Bahrain from which to deliver its innovative banking products and services.
The inauguration of the new Khaleeji Commercial Bank branch in Juffair Mall was marked by the attendance of Khalid Hamad, Executive Director — Banking Supervision, Mr. Khalil Ismaeel Al Meer, Chief Executive Officer, senior members of the management team, staff members and representatives of the media.
Khalil Ismaeel Al Meer, CEO of KHCB , commenting on the substantial growth of the Bank’s branch network said, “ KHCB ‘s increased presence across the Kingdom emphasizes our commitment to providing customers with greater convenience and accessibility. The rapid expansion of the Bank’s branch network is a positive sign that KHCB are on track to becoming the leading Islamic retail Bank in Bahrain.”

In the opening remarks he also stated, “Our expansion and continued growth is testament to our unwavering commitment to the country which we have long recognized as an important part of the global economy and financial sector. The new branch is also our way of ensuring that our existing and future customers can access us in locations closer to them and thereby provide easy access and convenience when banking with us.”
The inauguration of the new branch in Juffair comes just after five months of the opening of the bank’s branch in Isa Town. The opening also follows closely on the heels of the launch of the new and improved Al Waffer Scheme for the New Year 2016.
