HH Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has raised the UAE flag at the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, marking the UAE’s Flag Day.
HH Sheikh Khaled expressed pride in Flag Day as a symbol of national unity and an occasion to reaffirm belonging and loyalty to the country and the leadership.
He highlighted that this day embodies pride and honour and strengthens the values of solidarity and cohesion among the nation’s people, renewing the commitment to preserve the UAE’s achievements and uphold its noble mission.
The flag-raising ceremony featured the UAE national anthem and was attended by Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development; Staff Major General Pilot Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police; Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism; Sara Awadh Musallam, Chairperson of Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge; Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport; Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development; Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Department of Health; Ahmed Tamim Al Kuttab, Chairman of the Department of Government Enablement; Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; and a number of employees of Abu Dhabi Government.
