H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has met Michael Milken, Chairman of the economic think tank, the Milken Institute. During the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the Milken Institute Middle East and Africa Summit in Abu Dhabi, they discussed areas of mutual interest in priority sectors, as well as how the UAE’s growing knowledge economy is building a pathway towards a sustainable economic future. His Highness said that the leadership’s focus on driving RD and innovation is helping to create a business and talent ecosystem that is focused on tackling global challenges while driving sustainable economic growth.
The meeting was attended by Khaldoun Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority. The 5th Milken Institute Middle East and Africa Summit is taking place over two days under the theme ‘Navigating complexity through collaboration’. The event brings together business leaders, investors, government officials, academics, and philanthropists to connect and build solutions to pressing global challenges across climate change, economic opportunity, education and public health.
