HID SAFE Empowers Organizations to Streamline Physical Access Management with Enhanced Security Across Facilities

DUBAI / GULF TIME

HID, a global leader in trusted identity solutions, recently introduced several innovative advances in identity and access management, with a primary focus being HID SAFE, a scalable solution for secure identity and access control that allows organizations to efficiently manage physical access while maintaining top-tier security across facilities. The company also highlighted advancements in mobile access solutions and biometrics, which are becoming indispensable in secure, contactless interactions in today’s rapidly changing digital environment.
HID is leading the way in integrating emerging technologies, particularly AI and biometrics, into its solutions. “Incorporating biometrics into our HID SAFE platform enhances its ability to securely manage identities through facial recognition, fingerprint scanning, and mobile-based access,” said Christopher Smith, Director EMEA & ANZ, IAMS, HID.
“AI-driven analytics are enhancing the platform’s capabilities, allowing for proactive threat management and real-time insights into access patterns, boosting both security and operational efficiency,” he added.
Among the significant partnerships that the company has formed this year, HID is proud of its collaboration with Microsoft. The partnership integrates HID’s physical access cards with Microsoft Entra ID, enabling these cards to serve as a multi-factor authentication (MFA) method for accessing resources like Entra ID and Microsoft 365. This partnership is a key step toward a passwordless future, simplifying MFA deployment and speeding up adoption for Entra ID users.
According to Smith, HID is committed to a customer-first approach. “At HID, customer experience is at the heart of everything we do. We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we adopt a consultative process with each client, understanding their unique security challenges and requirements, and ensuring that organizations can tailor our solutions to their specific access control and identity management needs.”
Reflecting on HID’s growth, particularly in the Middle East, HID has experienced significant growth driven by strong partnerships with local players who have a deep understanding of the market’s needs. In 2025, HID aims to further enhance its identity and access management solutions, incorporating next-gen technologies like AI, machine learning, and advanced biometrics. HID also plans to expand its market presence in the Middle East, where demand for sophisticated security solutions continues to grow.
