His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, today called parents to prepare their children psychologically and educationally for the new academic year.
In a series of tweets on his official account on the microblogging site, Twitter, he said that awareness is what shapes future.
He was commenting on the recent call of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to use military, educational and cultural activities to help build capabilities of the students and instil patriotism, values and ethics in them.
Sheikh Hazza said, “This call requires that activities be carefully studied and future summer programmes be prepared so as to benefit from, and build on this successful experience.”
“In a matter of few days, students will go back to schools. We greet them and their parents and teachers on the occasion of the new academic year. Parents recognise the fact that their children need sound psychological and educational circumstances to be able to go back to school full of confidence and love. May God help them to achieve their comeback a successful one.”
Sheikh Hazza further stressed that students who will join schools for the first time this year sincere attention and follow-up because awareness at their early stages determines their educational future.”
On August 21, administrative and teaching staff of all public and private schools that follow the curriculum of the Ministry of Education will begin the new academic year, while the first day for students will be August 28.
