Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Executive Council HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum chaired on Thursday morning a meeting of the council at Emirates Tower, in the presence of Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The meeting reviewed various topics and projects, and heard from Abdullah Al-Rumaithi from Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects, who briefed the council
about the strategy that aims at boosting logistics’ competitiveness of the aviation and maritime
sectors in Dubai.
The strategy to address weaknesses and debottleneck the logistic sector in Dubai was also discussed during the meeting.
The council was also briefed about the progress of implementing health insurance system in Dubai, and the new strategic initiatives that aims to include early detection of cancer for holder of basic insurance package, and hepatitis C without increasing the premiums.
The council was also updated about Dubai Municipality’s plan
to impose fees and fine on waste
disposal.
