Government portal highlights UAE’s future milestones until 2117

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has said that the official UAE Government Portal presents a pillar that highlights the UAE’s future milestones until the year 2117, within the context of the national vision and the directives of the wise leadership, working towards creating a future full of happiness, achievement, sustainability and leadership.
Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori, Director-General of TRA, said, “The official portal of the UAE Government represents the electronic presence of the country. It is a comprehensive informative framework, open for the participation of the public in order to develop the content of the portal.”
The portal includes the UAE’s “Future” page detailing a specific timeline for the UAE’s journey during the
next few decades towards reaching the “Mars 2117” mission objectives, which include building the first inhabitable human settlement on Mars, and a national programme to prepare scientific cadres to explore the red planet.
This informative section also sheds light on the “Centennial Plan 2071” launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The plan includes a comprehensive and long-term vision extends for 5 decades, and constitutes a clear map of government work to enhance the country’s reputation and soft-strength.
The portal also includes
information on the different future plans of the Emirates such as the Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy, Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, among others.
