H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, said that 18th September, the day on which H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi became the Ruler of Fujairah, is an inspiring national occasion and a turning point in the journey of the UAE in general, and Fujairah in particular.
In a statement marking the 50th anniversary of the Ruler of Fujairah assuming leadership of the emirate, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed stated, “This day reminds us of a journey that inspires dedication, wisdom, and leadership, an illustrious chapter of building and giving to drive our country’s development.”
He noted that H.H. Sheikh Hamad’s approach is focused on investing in resources, empowering talent, fostering communication between the leadership and the people, and developing vital sectors to accelerate Fujairah’s growth.
The Fujairah Crown Prince explained that the vision of the Fujairah Ruler turbocharged the emirate’s efforts to excel on the global stage in economic, health, education and environmental fields, among others, highlighting his belief that building a nation begins with empowering its people.
He concluded, “Today, under H.H. Sheikh Hamad’s leadership, Fujairah is seeing a new era of cultural openness, economic development, and global engagement, with unique developmental projects within and beyond the emirate. Fujairah has become a distinguished destination, attracting attention and talent across key sectors that drive growth and progress.”
