Ford Ranger Pickup rolls out on UAE roads

The much-awaited new addition of Ford Ranger, the compact Pickup, has finally hit the markets. It is now available at Al Tayer showrooms.
Accoriding to Thierry Sabbagh, Managing Director at Ford Middle East, “The new Ford Ranger is a refined version of the earlier edition, and it has brought a new level of comfort. Without making any compromised of with the rugged capacity it has been modified to its segment. It represents a smarter kind of tough, and will help our customers to achieve more in every type of application.”
“If we look at the current Ranger, it is one of the toughest, most capable pickups out there, and this is reflected in the exceptional sales of the Ranger to date,” said Sabbagh.
The updated exterior designs, a bold, ultra-modern look contributes to the new Ranger a powerful presence on the road, and immediately conveys a sense of capability. “Thanks to our proud truck heritage and global expertise in the utility segment, we’ve made what was great even better, with a bold new look, improved efficiency and a new level of refinement.”
Continuing with the new Ranger to be produced at Ford’s Silverton Assembly Plant in Pretoria and would be exported to 148 markets in the MENA region as well as in Europe.
“When you look at how our customers use their vehicles, it’s important that a Ranger looks and functions as a tough, dependable tool,” Sabbagh adds. A more muscular hood flows into a strong new trapezoidal grille, which connects seamlessly with the chiselled projector headlamps, accentuating the new Ranger’s width and strong stance.
The exteriors compliment stylish interior of the Ranger. The classy, comfy, and contemporary interior gives a car-like environment for the driver and passengers. Strong horizontal lines run across the width of the cab, giving a sense of spaciousness, creating a clear distinction between the upper and lower levels, and placing the focus on the central eight-inch touchscreen on the high-spec models.
