Dr Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) and Faisal Al-Fayez, Jordan’s Senate President (Majlis Al-Aayan), met for an official discussion at the FNC headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The session focussed on strong historical relations between the UAE and Jordan and their people, as well as strengthening the parliamentary, economic, cultural
and educational ties through official visits and the exchange of knowledge.
Dr Al Qubaisi welcomed the Jordanian official and his accompanying delegation, and hailed the visit as part of the co-operation that embodies the close ties between President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan.
She praised the strong contributions and constant discussions between Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, with His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussain.
