FAHR unveils upgraded version of its smart app

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), launched an upgraded version of its smart application during its participation at GITEX Technology Week 2017.
Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Awar, Director-General of FAHR, praised the UAE’s pioneering position across all sectors, especially in smart technologies. He lauded the country’s keenness to be an influential partner in the global digital future, citing the success of GITEX, currently being held in Dubai, as one of the world’s leading technology platforms that has grasped the attention of local, regional, and international parties.
Commenting on the smart app upgrade, Dr. Al Awar said that the new FAHR app version includes 27 services benefiting employees across 57 ministries and federal bodies, where they can complete human resources related procedures with ease and efficiency.
He explained that 12 services would benefit both federal employees and customers, while the other 15 are linked to the ‘Bayanati’ system for employees and officials of ministries and federal agencies.
Laila Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Human Resources at the Human Resources Planning Department, said that since its launch in October 2014 and up until August 2017, the FAHR application had received great interaction and response rates.
According to Al Suwaidi, the app has been downloaded over 36,000 times, with a total of 70,000 transactions being carried out via the application. 18,000 of these total transactions occurred this year alone, she added.
