The Emirates Post Group (EPG), announced the release of two new commemorative stamps, one to mark the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival and the other to mark the country’s 46th National Day.
The Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival stamp, with a release date of December 1, has a face value of AED3 and is issued in a sheet of 12 stamps, measuring 40 mm by 40 mm. The National Day stamp, also with a face value of AED3 and with a release date of December 2, is issued in sheets of 20, measuring 30 mm by 40 mm. 25,000 copies of each have been issued, along with 1,000 first day covers, priced at AED4 each.
Both stamps were designed by the Emirates Post Group and were printed at Oriental Printing Press in Bahrain.
