The bank’s mobile app was recognised for its widely used services including Biometric Login and transactions app via ‘Smart Touch’ capability, using Apple’s Touch ID and Samsung’s Fingerprint; Mobile Queuing facility which allows customers to obtain a token for their branch transactions via the app, even before arriving at the branch, thus significantly reducing waiting time at the branch; Mobile Cheque Deposit, a first of its kind facility in the region, that enables Private Banking and Priority Banking customers to deposit cheques simply by capturing an image and uploading it remotely on the app; the popular DirectRemit fund transfer platform for remittances within 60 seconds to India, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Egypt and Pakistan; the innovative Shake n’ Save impulse savings app; and mePay, the bank’s peer to peer money transfer service, among others.
