Editors-in-Chief of various local newspapers held a coordination meeting at the Emirates News Agency’s (WAM), headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, attendees discussed means of enhancing cooperation and coordination efforts to support the role of the national media sector in highlighting the UAE’s pioneering accomplishments. They also discussed ways to strengthen knowledge exchange and to benefit from experiences in the media sector.
The attendees noted the role played by the Emirates News Agency in disseminating UAE news, highlighting the latest endeavour which sees the agency’s news service distributed in 13 languages targeting some 142 countries.
Following the meeting, Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi, Executive Director of WAM, provided a tour of the agency.
