The Environment Agency- Abu Dhabi (EAD) has been awarded the ISO 22301 Management System Certificate for Business Continuity Management. This certifies that the EAD’s business continuity system is in place, at the highest standards, making it ready and able to continue its operations in the event of any disruption.
The certificate was handed over to Dr. Abdullah Eisa Zamzam, EAD’s Assistant Secretary-General of Operations, by the Director-General of the British Standards Institution, BSI, in the presence of Aysha Al Ketbi, EAD’s Director of Planning and Performance Management, performance risk management team at the Agency with representatives from the BSI.
The agency was awarded the certificate following an external re-certification audit, overseen by the internationally
accredited certification body.
, of the systems carried out by the agency’s risk management team through the business continuity management system. In addition, EAD has awarded seven of its employees for passing ‘Lead Auditor’ for the business continuity management system certificate ISO 22301 from the BSI.
