Under the patronage and attendance of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, the Emirate of Dubai is hosting the GOTECH 2024 conference and exhibition, the leading event in the world of energy and technology under the theme: “Advancing Sustainable Energy” through innovation and cooperation. It will be held from May 7-9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, organized by Dragon Oil International, a 100% Dubai government-owned oil and gas company.
H.E. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice President of the Supreme Council of Energy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dragon Oil said: “We are pleased to launch the fifth edition exhibition and conference in the Emirate of Dubai, which is a platform for leading thinkers, industry experts and distinguished academics to share their experiences, opinions and exchange knowledge in order to enhance the growth of the energy sector and the Dubai government’s strategy to uphold sustainability principles, which constitutes an exceptional turning point in the march of international climate action in fulfillment of the vision and wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, in the State’s commitment to enhancing international cooperation in the field of climate action and promoting and completing the initiatives of this year 2024 (Year of Sustainability). This conference aims to discuss issues of common interest and exchange expertise and consult on efficiently meeting the needs of the sector in the future to support technological development and drive the wheel of industrial progress forward in oil and gas.”
