DSOA to attract German businesses at CeBIT 2017

Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) on Saturday announced its participation in CeBIT 2017, marking its fourth presence at the global event for digital business.
Set to run from March, 20-24 in Hannover, Germany, the upcoming edition of the trade show will feature an exhibition, conferences, corporate events, and keynote sessions.
During the five-day event, DSOA, the regulatory body for Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the integrated free zone technology park, will present a host of lucrative investment opportunities and incentives to the German
business community.
Adnan Juma Al Bahar, Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications at DSOA, said, “Germany enjoys great credibility for its research and development in the field of technology that contribute to continually shaping the global technological landscape. CeBIT has become a key event on our annual calendar and serves as an ideal platform for DSOA to highlight its unique value proposition that caters to technology companies and technopreneurs looking to expand or base their operations in the Middle East region.”
He added, “Through our participation in the world’s largest information technology expo, DSOA will support the ambitious vision of our wise leadership to make Dubai the smartest and happiest city in the world. We will showcase the Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Centre, DSOA’s wholly owned technology incubation hub and largest of its kind in the region that currently hosts 18 German start-ups. In addition, we will introduce Silicon Park, the first integrated smart city project taking shape at DSO.”
A wholly owned entity of the government of Dubai, DSO operates as a free zone technology park for large enterprises as well as medium and small companies looking to set up their offices in Dubai.
