The Japanese discount chain has opened a new store in Doha Festival City. The fourth Daiso Japan store in Qatar is the latest in several store openings in line with the company’s extensive regional expansion plans, bringing the count to 48 stores in the Middle East. In the Middle East, the brand is part of a well-established joint franchise venture between Lal’s Group and Damas Group.
Worldwide the brand has more than 3,500 stores, out of which 31 stores are in the United Arab Emirates, four in Qatar and the remaining 13 located in Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
The first Daiso Japan store in Qatar was opened in December 2004, and since then it has received an overwhelming response from its customers who appreciate the value for money offering, coupled with a massive choice. The store’s knowledgeable and enthusiastic team of retail professionals deliver expert product information and advice, creating an outstanding customer experience.
Located on the Ground floor of Doha Festival City, the store occupies 4,450 square feet and offers customers a range of 70,000 products, covering a vast array of categories including homeware, décor and ornaments, stationery, pets and toys.
