H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has attended a group wedding reception for 41 citizens, held today at the Majlis Al Bateen in Abu Dhabi. The reception was attended by H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Office of Development and Martyrs Families Affairs at the Presidential Court; Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; as well as several senior officials and family members.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi congratulated the newlyweds and their families and wished them a happy and prosperous married life. He also highlighted the role of group weddings in supporting Emirati youth and enhancing social cohesion and family stability.
The group wedding for citizens included People of Determination, as part of the family stability support programme Mabrook Madabart (Congratulations on your marriage). The programme was launched by the Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination to promote their integration into society and empowerment across all aspects of social life. The newly-wed families expressed their gratitude to Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Sheikhs for attending the reception. The occasion included traditional shows and folk art performances.
