City University College of Ajman marks National Day

To mark the United Arab Emirates’ 47th National Day, City University College of Ajman (CUCA) celebrated the Spirit of the Union through a full day program, attended by the college’s management, faculty, students and staff. The ceremony reflected and rejoiced the distinctive Emirati Culture.
The UAE National Day Celebration included various interactive activities and was initiated with the recitation of the UAE national anthem, providing the audience with a sense of pride and belonging; followed by a moment of silence for the Nation’s honorable martyrs. The audience appreciated the variety of activities, such as: watching the UAE national dance (Yola), poem narrations, live calligraphy and henna station, traditional food tasting, winning prizes from competitions held by student council, among many other activities.
CUCA President, Imran Khan, and CUCA Vice Chancellor, Dr Mohamed Amerah, toured the event and extended their congratulations to the Emirati Community. Khan stated, “We would like to convey our heartfelt wishes and congratulations to the UAE’s wise leadership and the people on the 47th anniversary of the UAE. Our leaders value unity, tolerance, and coexistence and have ensured the continuity of safety and prosperity for our nation. Our participation in the national day celebrations aims to provide our community with a sense of patriotism and underlines our ongoing commitment to creating a culture of excellence and progressive thinking.”
The UAE National Day celebrations at CUCA attracted a large number of visitors, who left the event with a strong sense of pride and belonging.
