16 cases exempted from loan payments

The Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) under the chairmanship of Saeed Eid Al Ghafli, exempted 16 cases from loan payments totalling AED12 million due to deaths.
During its first meeting this year, the ADHA board also reviewed 936 requests for the replacement of a land grant for a built housing facility, including 936 applications divided into Abu Dhabi regions. They also reviewed rejected requests according to the authority’s terms and conditions. The members of the board were also briefed on the overall performance of the loan portfolio and loan distribution mechanism for 2017.
During the meeting, they also monitored the work progress of housing projects, notably the Jabel Hafeet with 3,000 housing units, Ain Al Fayda project with 2,000 housing units and Al Falah Residential Complex with more than 800 housing units.
The board also reviewed a study on the occupancy of public housing in Al Falah Al Jadida, Yas, Abu Samra, Ghunaimah, Al Yahar, Al Salamat, Al Dhafra, Ghayathi and Sila. They also reviewed the proposed mechanism
for decision-making in emergency situations.
The ADHA was established to achieve several strategic objectives and tasks, including the implementation of citizens’ housing programmes and to identify their requirements, as well as preparing logistical equipment for infrastructure standards, and developing housing programmes and related regulations.
