Blue Ocean Academy has announced a special two-day leave with company-sponsored tickets for all its employees to enjoy the experiences of the Expo 2020 Dubai – the world’s greatest show.
The latest announcement which has doubled the excitement of every Blue Ocean employee is a unique attempt by the company’s management that strives to support both employee wellness as well as the Dubai government’s aim to sustain the country’s economy through the Expo 2020 Dubai.
Bedazzling everyone with a spectacular opening ceremony on 30th September 2021, Expo 2020 Dubai opened its doors to the public on October 1, 2021 and will be operational for the next six months, ending next year on March 31, 2022.
Blue Ocean offered these special leaves to allow its employees to delve deep into the rich Expo 2020 Dubai experiences brimming with cultural and technological magnificence.
Dr Sathya Menon, CEO of Blue Ocean Academy said, “This is a small endeavour by Blue Ocean, through which we seek to support the Dubai Government’s efforts to sustain the economy of Dubai and the UAE and safeguard the wellbeing of our employees. Just like the theme of Expo 2020 states ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’, meaning to cooperate and collaborate and stimulate ideas that will establish what Dubai’s future looks like, we as a team are also closely connected and work unitedly to nurture growth for a better tomorrow for our organisation and the nation.â€
The UAE which has the world’s highest percentage of fully vaccinated residents, is drawing major global attention for the World Expo which is now being held in Dubai. Expo 2020 Dubai is home to almost 200 pavilions and many prominent government leaders, international celebs and VVIPS are expected to visit the event.
Blue Ocean management has confirmed that on the first day, the entire team of Blue Ocean will be visiting the world’s biggest exhibition together as a team, whereas the second paid leave shall allow employees to visit the Expo 2020 site with their families.
Abdul Azeez, Chairman of Blue Ocean said, “These special leaves will enable our employees and their families to immerse in the Expo 2020 Dubai experiences better. Expo 2020 Dubai has so much to offer. The more you explore, the more you grow.â€
The first visit is likely to happen during the first week of December, as Team Blue Ocean is currently busy with the preparations for their signature event – the 6th International Procurement and Supply Chain Conference (IPSC) scheduled to happen on November 6 this year. The second paid leave can be availed by Blue Ocean employees at any time during these six months.
Blue Ocean’s principles and opportunities are also in tune with the Expo 2020’s sub themes of opportunity, mobility, and sustainability. Time and again, the management always looks up for ways to boost up the energy and motivation at work, and at the same time ensures that employees can retain a good deal of the drive in their personal spaces.
