HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and President of the Executive Council, praised the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to establish the world’s first Government Accelerators.
Sheikh Ammar made this statement while viewing a presentation by members of the working teams of the second stage of the Government Accelerators, with three being currently applied in Ajman at the Ministry of Interior, the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA) and the Ministry of Community Development.
His Highness listened to the goals and working procedures of the teams, as well as to the introduction of the initiatives to raise the level of services for customers and beneficiaries and to reduce the waiting times to complete their transactions, and several notable ideas from the authorities, in partnership with the local government and the private sector.
Sheikh Ammar stressed that the launch of the Government Accelerators aims to advance and improve the government’s work, and everyone should be proud that the government is striving to provide all the requirements of a dignified and happier life. He called on the government to continue issuing initiatives, ideas and suggestions for greater development in all its services locations, for the UAE to be the first in the world to provide high-level and advanced government services.
Everyone should also benefit from the experience of others, and learning from these experiences is nothing to be ashamed about, he added, while praising the high-level of talent and the considerable efforts of the working teams and their accomplishments in 100 days.
Sheikh Ammar expressed his happiness, pride and honour at the children of the nation, who had managed, in 100 days, to achieve many accomplishments and create many initiatives and ideas, to expand the activities and services offered by government authorities that resulted an increase in the number of beneficiaries and a decrease in their waiting times.
The Ajman Crown Prince also reminded everyone about the necessity of spending greater efforts and maintaining the successful outcomes achieved by the Government Accelerators teams during its previous stage, as well as the necessity of continuing to offer initiatives and ideas, to develop the government’s work and achieve the happiness of customers.
During the meeting with the working teams, Sheikh Ammar listened to a summary of their goals and working procedures, to reduce the waiting times for obtaining residency for non-residents working in the private sector in Ajman. He also listened to a detailed explanation of the services and initiatives of the FEWA, to reduce the waiting time to provide its electricity services to new applicants from new residential villas owned by Ajman citizens. He also reviewed the initiatives of the Ministry of Community Development, which aim to increase the community’s use of its services in Ajman.
Sheikh Ammar said that the Ajman Government is advancing forward through its work to support the Government Accelerators, which aims to increase the percentage of completed transactions for beneficiaries and decrease their waiting times, raising the level of productivity and providing high-level services, according to the directives of HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman.
“We aim, in the Ajman Government, to launch a set of new challenges, initiatives and ideas, through which we can speed up transactions and offer exceptional services to the customers and beneficiaries of departments, centres, organisations and authorities in Ajman, and for the Government Accelerators to be adopted in co-ordination and co-operation with the Cabinet of Ministers,” Sheikh Ammar added.
The Government Accelerators is a working plan that aims to predict future development, which is made up of joint working teams of leading personalities from federal and local government authorities, the private and academic sectors, and civil community organisations, who are located in one place and work under one umbrella, to achieve goals of National Agenda and its performance indicators.
