Dr Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of Federal National Council (FNC) sent a cable of greetings to HH Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, on the occasion of the Emirati Women’s Day.
“The Emirati Women’s Day is the day when we express gratitude to the diligent efforts and the unlimited support given by Your Highness to the advancement of the women in the UAE, the GCC, the Arab countries and the whole world,” she said.
Dr Amal Al Qubaisi saluted the Mother of the Emirates H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak as a pioneer of humanitarian and social work.
“Her Highness the Mother of the Emirates has, and will always be, a role model for giving. We are proud of the role she has been playing in empowering women, both locally and internationally,†she added.
