Al Qubaisi inaugurates ‘Morocco in Abu Dhabi’

Dr. Amal Al Qubaisi, President of the Federal National Council (FNC) and HE Hakeem Bin Shammas, Head of the Moroccan Counselors’ Council accompanied by HE Matar Suhail Al Yabhouni, Member of the FNC and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of Morocco in Abu Dhabi, officially inaugurated Morocco in Abu Dhabi.
The event is welcomed by HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco and supported by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and the recognition of HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
Morocco in Abu Dhabi is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre) ADNEC), and is set to promote and support the historical and fraternal ties between the UAE and the Kingdom of Morocco across all fields. The event is open for public until December 11, every day between 3:00 pm and 10:00 pm
The event was also attended by the esteemed members of the Federal National Council, including HE Hamad Al Ghafli, HE Aysha Salem bin Samnouh, HE Jassim Abdullah Al Naqbi, and Muhammad Ayat Wa Ali, the Moroccan Ambassador to the UAE.
On this occasion, Dr. Amal Al Qubaisi highlighted the distinguished deep-rooted historical relationship between the UAE and Morocco, led by the leaderships and strongly supported by the people. This relation is carved with tolerance and love, a true reflection of the heritage and values of a rich heritage. HE Al Yabhouni underlined the continued cooperation and coordination for hosting additional joint events and initiatives that accentuate the cultural authenticity of both countries; Morocco in Abu Dhabi is a testament to the robust and loyal ties between the UAE and the Kingdom of Morocco.

HE Matar Suhail Al Yabhouni, Member of the Federal National Council and Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee of Morocco in Abu Dhabi thanked the leadership of the UAE for welcoming and hosting this remarkable event. Al Yahbouni confirmed that Morocco in Abu Dhabi offers a great opportunity for the UAE’s citizens and residents to learn about the Moroccan legacy and to educate the future generations on the importance of preserving its heritage. The event aims to instill the principles of tolerance and love which are the cornerstone of the values set by our parents, grandparents and ancestors.
