Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development, has opened the Reading Centre at the ministry’s headquarters in Dubai. Zahra Al Aboudi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry, Assistant Under-Secretaries and staff were present.
The initiative is in line with a group of initiatives launched by the Ministry of Infrastructure Development in the framework of the UAE’s ‘Year of Reading 2016’ initiative launched by the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The minister emphasised that the announcement of 2016 as Year of Reading will be beginning of an overall change to stimulate everyone to read and support ideas which contribute to the comprehensive renaissance.
