Ajman issues 1052 business licenses in Q2 copy

A total of 1052 business licenses have been issued in Ajman during Q2, 2017, reflecting the accelerated development of the emirate’s economy.
With only 165 licenses revoked, the figures, revealed by the Planning and Development Division at Ajman Department of Economic Development, DED, indicated a 12.3 percent growth in the number of renewed licenses during the same period as compared to the Q1 of 2017 when a total of 5597 licenses were issued against 6286 in Q2.
Commenting on the positive results, Saud Sultan Al Shammari, Director of the Business Registration and Licensing Division, DED, said the Emirate of Ajman has gone a long way in its path toward achieving its Vision 2021 aimed at building up a sustainable competitive economy in harmony with the prudent directives of H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman and the close follow-up of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.
“The vision, which is supervised by Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ajman Ruler’s Representative for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Chairman of the Ajman Free Zone Authority, is aimed at ensuring sustainable economic development so that the emirate can be one of the key investment destinations in the country and the entire region,” he added.
“The positive figures achieved reflect investors’ confidence in the economy of the emirate and the business incentives provided to streamline investment and accelerate development.”
