Abu Dhabi University (ADU), on Tuesday announced the launch of nine new bachelor’s and master’s programmes for the 2018 semester in line with its sustained commitment to addressing the UAE market demand and equipping younger generations with the required tools and skillsets to progress in promising careers and grow the national economy.
The nine new undergraduate and post-graduate programmes include three Bachelor of Business Administration degrees with specialisations in Business Analysis, Business Sustainability, and International Business, as well as four new Master of Business Administration degrees with specialisations in Risk Management and Insurance, Organisational Excellence and Quality Management, and Strategic Management.
Also, two new Bachelor of Science programmes with specialisations in Biotechnology Engineering and Cyber Security Engineering are also scheduled, as well as a Master of Corporate Communications and Leadership degree.
The decision came during the first meeting of the ADU Board of Regents for 2018, chaired by Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Vice President of ADU’s Board of Regents. The meeting was attended by Dr. Maitha Al Shamsi, Minister of State, Humaid Al Qutami, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director-General of Dubai Health Authority, Dr. Nasser Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Security, Justice and Safety Commitee of the Executive Council in Abu Dhabi, Saeed Eid Al Ghafli, Board Chairman of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, Dr. Hadef Al Dhaheri, former UAE Minister of Justice, Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Global Market, Ali Saeed bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, Chairman of ADU’s Executive Board, and Qusai Mohammad Al-Ghussain, General Manager of Bin Harmal Group.
