ADNIC hires ten Emiratis in 100 days

Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC), one of the leading regional multi-line insurance providers for corporates and individuals, has achieved its target for the UAE Government
Accelerators program, by employing 10 Emirati talents during the first 100 days of the programme.
Upon recruitment, ADNIC in coordination with Emirates Institute of Banking and Financial Studies, enrolled all recruits in the skills development program of the institute designed to enhance technical knowledge and capabilities in the insurance sector. The program that started on December 18, 2016, consists of courses covering all aspect of insurance and underwriting, using state–of-the-art learning tools and modules. The first batch of recruits has graduated successfully with top results.
Abdulla Al Nuaimi, Executive Vice President – Shared Services for ADNIC said: “Historically, ADNIC has been a leading private sector partner in implementing key government initiatives aimed at skills enrichment and development of human resources. The achievement of our Government Accelerators program target is testament to our ability to deploy resources quickly to support the national agenda and impart cutting edge training to Emirati professionals. We believe the Accelerators program will serve as force multiplier in bridging the skills gap in the regional finance and insurance sector.”
As part of the Accelerators Program, ADNIC has hired 10 Emirati talents in the first 100 days of the program, making it the first insurance company to achieve its target. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, in partnership with the private sector, has been working with a target of providing 1,000 job opportunities for
Emiratis in the financial sector within 100 days.

At ADNIC, we have closely analysed the current skills gap in the industry and are now able to help our people acquire the necessary skills to become top quality technocrats in insurance.”
