ADM launches crackdown against outlawed lodging

The Abu Dhabi City Municipality launched an extensive campaign aimed at combating disorderly accommodation as well as condensed bachelors accommodation in areas falling within the realms of authorities of Al Wathba Municipal Centre.
The campaign is intended to confronting this phenomenon, and enforcing the environmental and health standards by organising awareness and educational campaigns targeting all community segments.
This drive comes as part of the vision of Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport aimed to ensure the highest standards of health and safety for the residents of Abu Dhabi and suburbs, and nurturing a safe and modern living environment for all inhabitants.
The ADM is keen on implementing the standards of security, safety and public health in accommodations in order to secure safety and health for community members.
The municipality also intended to protect the rights of residents by providing modern, civilized and healthy living experience, and at the same time eradicating all practices distorting the civilised appearance of the city.
