ADIPEC 2024 will convene key global energy stakeholders to explore the crucial role of AI: Dr Ali Alameri

Dr Ali Alameri, Chairman of Alshoumoukh Group for Oil Services, highlighted the significant role of ADIPEC 2024, the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference, as a global energy industry landmark, marking its 40th anniversary.  The event, scheduled for November 4-7, 2024, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, is anticipated to draw over 185,000 visitors and feature 1,800 leading experts and innovators in energy and artificial intelligence (AI).
Dr Alameri highlighted that ADIPEC 2024 will convene key global energy stakeholders to explore the crucial role of AI and financing in the global energy transition towards sustainability. He emphasized the importance of demonstrating how AI can drive transformations across economies and industries, accelerating a responsible and logical energy sector transition.
Given the international focus on achieving climate neutrality, Dr Alameri underscored that ADIPEC 2024 will showcase innovative technologies crucial for a secure, equitable, and sustainable energy future. He also emphasized the importance of investments in exploration and development, particularly within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations,  pointing to how technological advancements in the oil and gas sector are enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
Concluding his remarks, Dr Alameri reiterated Alshoumoukh Group for Oil Services’ commitment to supporting the UAE energy sector. The group is actively investing in modern technology to enhance its capabilities, aiming for regional and global leadership in oil services.
