The Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) hosted a panel discussion titled ‘The crucial role of governance in mitigating financial fraud’ during the ‘Risk 4.0’ forum.
The discussion session explored several topics, including corporate governance frameworks, and regulatory landscape.
Moderated by journalist Georgia Tolley, the panel discussion brought together influential speakers from key industries who enriched the discussion, including Hussain Khorji, CFO of Ruya Partners; Mark Chahwan, Co-founder and CEO of Sarwa; and Melissa Scully, Partner and Corporate Governance Specialist at Deloitte, a leader in auditing, management consulting, and corporate governance.
The interactive AI-powered humanoid robot ‘Furhat’ was a special guest at the panel discussion. As the first-of-its-kind speaker at the ‘Risk 4.0’ forum, Furhat’s unique participation highlighted the critical role of advanced technology in enhancing financial fraud detection within companies.
